She served as a flight nurse for decades and spent 15 years as Chief Flight Nurse, guiding teams through high-acuity, high-stakes missions with a focus on safety, clinical excellence, and compassionate care.
A founding board member of Code 4 Northwest, Brenda has been instrumental in shaping the organization’s mission and growth from its earliest days. Her lived experience supporting first responders—both in the field and as a leader—has made her a powerful advocate for mental health, resilience, and wellness across the first-responder community.
