Karyn Brown brings more than 22 years of experience in public safety communications, dedicating her career to serving her community and supporting the first responders who serve it. Throughout those years, she has often been the calm, reassuring voice behind the scenes during emergencies, helping callers through some of the most difficult moments of their lives while ensuring responders have the critical information they need.
As a TC1 Supervisor at South Sound 911, Karyn has built her career through leadership, training, quality assurance, peer support, and mentorship. She has served as an Academy Instructor, Training Lead, Floor Trainer, Union Shop Steward, and a member of the union contract negotiations team. Her passion for developing others, advocating for employees, and fostering collaboration has made her a trusted leader committed to strengthening both individuals and teams.
Karyn believes that supporting those who serve others is one of the most meaningful ways to give back. She is honored to be part of Code 4 Northwest and looks forward to contributing her experience, leadership, and commitment to strengthening the first responder community.
